Tom's Place - Andover

This little roadside eatery is a gem for breakfast and lunch. Despite its simple appearance, the menu offers tasty and satisfying options. There are a few picnic tables available for seating, although it can get quite busy. The food was excellent, and I was pleased that I decided to stop by.

I recently tried a lobster roll meal at a restaurant in Andover that I discovered through an ad on social media. The meal was priced at $17, which I thought was a great deal for Connecticut lobster. I drove to the restaurant, which I had passed by many times before, and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious CT-Style Lobster Roll that I received. The roll was buttery and filled with generous amounts of lobster meat, topped with clarified butter. It was accompanied by coleslaw and a bag of chips, making for a satisfying meal. The price was much more reasonable than a similar meal at a popular fast food chain. I enjoyed my meal under the shade of trees next to the restaurant, and would highly recommend this classic roadside stand to others. There was plenty of parking available for larger vehicles as well.

We were in area and looking for a quick bit to eat and spotted this roadside stand. There were several cars and large parked, but quickly secured a spot. We placed our orders for hot dogs and waited for 15 minutes for them while sitting at one of the available picnic tables. As it turns out, it was the sole employee's first day on the job and she seemed to be filling orders one at a time rather than grilling multiple hot dogs and hamburgs simultaneously. In any case, she was quite nice and the hot dogs turned out to be very good so a return visit, when and if we are in the neighborhood again, is likely.

I have been driving past this place for years and am glad I finally stopped. I had a very tasty sausage, egg, and cheese on a fresh hard roll with a crispy hash brown on the side. The service was friendly and my food came out fast. You can take your food to go, or grab a quick seat at one of the picnic tables. I will definitely stop again.

I stopped in while driving by and ordered a sausage egg and cheese with a hash brown on it. BY FAR THE BEST EGG SANDWICH IVE EVER HAD!!! I highly highly recommended trying this place out if you see it open!!!! Amazing, quick, delicious, extremely organized and clean!!!!!
