Bidra med feedbackI visited this café for a late Sunday brunch during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 while I was traveling from out of state. There is street parking available on the same side as the café, and there are additional parking options nearby as well.
The service was incredibly slow, but the food definitely made up for it. It took around 30 minutes for them to take our order. My husband ordered the spicy fried...

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at The Red Chair. The food was exceptional, and the service was impeccable. The manager, Tish, was very welcoming and took the time to greet us, ensuring we were having a wonderful meal. Our waiter, Nikola, did an outstanding job. Both the Americano and regular coffee were excellent, and the coffee station was conveniently located. The food was fresh and delightful. If you're in Anchorage, this restaurant is a must-try. They are closed on Mondays, but it’s a charming place to dine. Please note that they will be relocating in the coming months, so it’s wise to check with The Red Chair before making a reservation during that time.
The atmosphere in this restaurant is fantastic—open and spacious, making it very comfortable. We did encounter a few hiccups, such as one person in our group having to wait for their order because it was missed. Additionally, the latte ordered tasted a bit burnt and the cup was only half full after the foam settled. Despite the busyness of the place, we all thought the food was exceptional. I had the traditional eggs Benedict, and the hollandaise sauce was absolutely perfect. I will definitely return and recommend this restaurant to others.
