Bidra med feedbackWe visited a night of Fairbanks with my wife. On Friday was a showcase of music groups. We arrived at 7:00 and ordered a dinner. That was a good idea because we didn't know how full the place will be and just get a good table from the scene in time. Dinner was good, nothing spectacular, but very good. Service was also very good. And then the music started! It was just great! We were able to dance occasionally (until 11 a.m. when the crowd grew to impossible density). Great music, funny people, beautiful atmosphere. We'll be back to our next visit. I love the place. We went at midnight and I think the concert was at least 2 hours a day.
We visited the restaurant on a Saturday and had a great experience. The bartenders and waiting staff were excellent - attentive, fun, and friendly. The chef prepared delicious salmon tacos and a tasty chile with sausage. The atmosphere was great with a good selection of beer and music. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
I was only here twice, but it's downstairs my favorite in anchorage. the atmosphere is good and there are every night live music, so it is a fun place to take a date, or just go and go and meet people who are very nice, warm and hospitable, who are both personal and paragliding. the first time I went there was because I heard that one of my favorite indie bands came into town, but I had to work until midnight. I was there at 12:30 a.m., the cover fee was $20, but I told the doorman, I had to work until 12 and he let me come in and see the last 20 minutes of the show for free. the one time when I tried to eat there (cheering soup) I was impressed; it was a huge bowl of very good suppe, for $6, that is what many places in the city for a dose beer. very reasonable.
I came to this restaurant for a drink and was pleasantly surprised to find a live band playing French Canadian folk music. The atmosphere was cozy and the patrons friendly, making it easy to strike up conversations. They have a great selection of lark bier on tap and a variety of bottled beers as well. I didn't get the chance to try the spenard dip, but it looked delicious. I will definitely be returning for a meal next time and if the food is as good as the atmosphere, I will have to give this place a 5-star rating.
Taproot can be hit or miss, but they showcase great local and international talent. It's always advisable to check the calendar before going. The food is tasty and the beer selection is impressive. However, the open mic nights may not be for everyone. On chilly days, their heating system may not be adequate, so be prepared to huddle near a space heater.
