Zankou Chicken - Anaheim

Ate there a chicken shawarma and had food poisoning! Not good. Also the cashier had an attitude and the portions were small. I was there before and was not impressed but this time it really effected my health. The HB zankou is much cleaner friendlier service and quality food!

Was great I loved it don't forget the bakery next door

They're friendly when you come in. Their food smells great and I've heard it's wonderful.

The food we bought were delicious and we were satisfied. I just have a comment about your cashiers and your manager. When we walked in, we expect that we will be instructed on what to do. I made a big order 5 days prior. We were expecting that when get there, they will tell us that the order is ready and we can pay for the order. However, your cashier just ignores our presence and didn’t say anything. So, we waited for 30 minutes just standing in-front of them, totally ignored by your cashiers. We walked in 15 minutes early before the time of pick up. So we thought they were simply finishing up the order. After 30 minutes of being ignored, we approached the cashier and demanded for our order, the lady, maybe the manager argued with me that she thought we were being helped by someone. I was dumbfounded because they ignored us throughout the time. We were literally right in front of them and they were avoiding eye contact. How could she think that we were being helped by these cashiers? I was just shocked by her reasoning. The manager and your cashiers have attitude problem. They need to learn how to communicate with their customers. Don’t just ignore us when we’re in front of you. I just want to share my observations and disappointment with their service. It happened July 3 Wednesday at 11 am.

I'm stoked that they open a shop in Anaheim and LB too. I used to go to Lawndale/hawthorne or Glendale just to get this food. The Harisa sauce...I'm hooked!
