Caesar Augustus - Anacapri

My wife and I had our wedding anniversary dinner there in May and the whole evening was truly outstanding! From the pre-dinner drinks on the terrace with views over Capri and a sunset to die for, to the tasting menu dinner with wines all served impeccably. If you are looking for an outstanding dinner venue for a special occasion, this is a must if you are in Capri! An unforgetable experience.

This place is more than just a hotel. Staying at the Caesar Augustus is a truly unforgettable experience, and we would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Capri. From the moment we booked, the staff was eager to make our stay as personal and special and comfortable as possible. Everyone is so sweet, thoughtful and personable, and the place really felt like home from the moment we got there (which is rare for more luxurious hotels that can sometimes feel stuffy and pretentious). This place puts so much care into every little detail. The rooms are beautiful. The views (from everywhere) are breathtaking. The food and drinks are incredible. From the warm, homemade breakfast, to the pool bar, to the chef's personal creations at the hotel restaurant (everything is freshly caught or grown right there in the hotel's personal garden). The smell of lavender and the winding stone paths. The beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There is just a palpable sense of natural peace around the entire property, which feels so authentic and relaxing. And everyone is available at every turn to take care of whatever you need. From the moment we arrived, the son of the owners (Francesco) came to shake our hand and make us feel as if we were staying in his personal home, rather than a large hotel resort. The cost is high, but we found that it was worth every penny, and we're already looking forward to going back. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so special.

The view from the terrace is one of the best for the area. I stayed in another more expensive place, so I can't review the rooms. We gave the olives to Julia Roberts who was sitting at a close table.

If you're planning to travel to Capri, don't look any further for a hotel. This is the place you want to stay at! My (now) fiancé and I got engaged here last week and he planned the whole thing with Francesca from months ago they truly were beyond helpful, attentive and responsive. They made the whole thing a breeze for my partner and it was magical. Now all that aside, we got the JR suite honeymoon package and our room overlooked the the water, it was STUNNING. Rooms are incredibly clean and perfect, also very spacious. Also shoutout to Elia, Alessandro and Rocco for their incredible hospitality. They truly made our stay that much better. We cannot wait to go back we both agreed this will be our yearly stop!

Classic Elegance and Old Capri-sensation! Before the trip you will have a great contact with the concierge, and when arriving to the island you'll be met with grace and class by the staff helping you to get to the hotel. Once at the hotel you will be charmed by its greenery and yellow decor. Tasteful and classic elegance. The view will take your breath away, and once checked in (hopefully you'll get a room view an ocean view , you will never want to leave. The owners are great, the staff is professional and you will really get help with whatever you might need. This is a place where you will sleep like a queen (or king for that matter , you will dress up and wish life was always like this, you will eat and drink until you have to go and buy new clothes, and you will be positively surprised that they offer Bellavista Franciacorta. The live music during the night is quite nice and well, there is really nothing bad to say! An extra plus is that there are no kids, its quite and grown-up so to speak! : Hopefully you'll see us again next summer! Thank you so much!
