Let's Twist Again - Amsterdam

I ordered the Reuben sandwich, and it was flavorful and delicious, but it arrived looking like it had been dropped from 50 feet above. I had to piece it back together before I could actually eat it. The fries were just okay; they really needed more seasoning. As for the decor, it's attempting to evoke a 1950s diner vibe, but some of the pictures were just printed out and taped to the wall, and there didn’t seem to be any cohesive theme. Additionally, the floors and walls were quite dirty—I didn't want to take a closer look.

I arrived just a few minutes before closing, but I was greeted with a warm welcome. I ordered the BLT with homemade fries for lunch, and it was delicious. I might have to return to try something from the breakfast menu!

This is a fantastic spot (slightly off the beaten path) for breakfast and light lunch. Everything here is made from scratch, including the potato chips. The burger was decent, but it could have used a bit more tomato—just one slice on a triple-layer sandwich with only a few lettuce leaves. Everything could have used a pinch of salt, especially the fries. The all-day breakfast is the highlight, featuring enormous (pizza-sized) pancakes and delicious French toast. While the service from the local staff can be a bit inconsistent as they tend to chat with friends and family, the overall value makes it worthwhile. There’s a small counter, an outdoor deck, and tables and booths to choose from. They also offer ice cream treats and daily specials. It's a charming little place!

Been here before and food was good. Walked in back door and saw no one around. Had surgery last week so needed to sit. We found a table and got owner/waitress/mistress of poor manners attention who came over to give us the third degree about why we were sitting there. We said we needed to sit and no one was there. She said she didn’t even know if this table was clean, which clearly it was. She turned away to seat a legitimate customer?. We left. I won’t rerun. Awful treatment. Seemed she was working alone and didn’t want anyone there and a little annul retentive.

Service was amazing. Food came out quick and was delicious. The whole place has an amazing vibe.
