Let's Twist Again Diner - Amsterdam

First of all, a shout out to our waitress who was waiting on all of the tables by herself during a lunch rush! She did an awesome job even though she was clearly overwhelmed.The Reuben sandwich I ordered had good flavor and was yummy, but it looked like it had been dropped on the plate from 50 feet up. I had to reassemble it before I could even eat it. The fried were okay, needed major seasoning.The decor is trying to be like a 1950s diner, but some of the pictures are just print outs taped to the wall and nothing has any rhyme or reason. The floor and walls were quite dirty- didn't want to look too closely.

Service was amazing. Food came out quick and was delicious. The whole place has an amazing vibe.

Been here before and food was good. Walked in back door and saw no one around. Had surgery last week so needed to sit. We found a table and got owner/waitress/mistress of poor manners attention who came over to give us the third degree about why we were sitting there. We said we needed to sit and no one was there. She said she didn’t even know if this table was clean, which clearly it was. She turned away to seat a legitimate customer?. We left. I won’t rerun. Awful treatment. Seemed she was working alone and didn’t want anyone there and a little annul retentive.

Great atmosphere, excellent service, and awesome food with large portions. I 'm a breakfast guy, and I couldn 't finish the Slammie Davis Jr plate. The over the plate pancakes are huge!!!Well with the trip!

We stopped for a late breakfast on Sunday they only serve breakfast on Sunday's n close at 1) The staff were great and our group of eight thoroughly enjoyed their meal selections. We will be back!
