Kundan Dhaba - Amritsar

Delicious foods at a moderate price. Feels like a traditional Punjabi dhaba. Go to the right side one as there are two restaurants of the same name. You will find a dwarf man, a really dedicated staff of this place. He is so cooperative and it will feel as if you are in a very well-known place. Kudos to his Dal fry and Paneer Mashala.

If you really like tasty, freshly cooked, hygienic pure vegetarian Punjabi food, you need to visit this place. Ambience Is Age Old Out Dated and Service is somewhat slow, but the authenticity in real Punjabi taste, reasonable prices attracts more and more customers here over the years! Must visit if you are in Amritsar and near State Roadways Central Bus Stand or near Sangam Kino!

Delicious food and at affordable rates, the owners were nice enough to make us Kulcha at dinner time as we had missed eating it during the day! Service was abit on the slow side but overall a very decent experience.

Visited this place during our road trip. Were staying in a hotel nearby and wanted to try local food. The guy at reception suggested to goto Bus station area which was a walking distance and see what suits us. We roamed around and saw three 'Kundan Dhaba ' each claiming to be the original just like Maganlal of Lonavla, Maharashtra if you know what i mean so thought this must be a well known name to contest for and went in. The ambiance was definetly not great and we were somewhat disappointed by our decision but food arrived pretty quickly and it was indeed delicious. Service was average, ambiance was below average, food is little on the expensive side for the kind of place it is but taste is good. So recommended if you want to venture.
