Tgi Fridays - Amherst

It has been too long since our last visit but tonight I did the 6oz Salmon. It was good! Take 'em for a test drive soon!

The location is huge, and the service could have been a little better, but I love Tgi. I waited a little for the food, but it came out at the right temperature, and it was yummy.

Tasted amazing it was nice and sizzling hot. The waitress was slow at bringing out our food other than that amazingly delicious

We went right around opening...quiet...did have to clean of booth ourselves as crumbs we still on seat...food was good and the waitress was attentive

Arrived on a Thursday evening at 9:30pm, 2 waitstaff, 1 bartender, 3 tables with customers , a group at a table by the bar and 2 customers at the bar as well as 2 doordashers picking up orders. Was seated within 2minutes but after we were seated what I saw made me feel sorry for tonights staff.... As our server tried to juggle between the tables she kept a friendly smile and tried her best to handle the amount of late evening customers coming in. While our food was good, and came quickly, I couldn 't help to see this poor server struggle to make her table rounds. At one point 2 groups came in 1 with 8 another of 5 and last another of 3, she held her composure running circles around the entire restaurant but you could clearly see she was at wits end . It 's sad when the bartender leaves the bar area to help seat customers and all the tables around us are still unclean. Sad to think that this is how the franchise owner would allow their business to run at this capacity. Sad also when we have to go ourselves to ask for a refill beverage at the bar because our server it 's just so busy she 's trying to get to us but just can 't . Update: just found out from the bartender that our server Sarah has been here since 10am it 's now 10:49pm and she 's still going due to the evening waitress calling in....wow oh wow.... Franchise owner I can only hope you will recognize Sarah for her efforts, it 's because of her understanding of service and team work that your business stayed open this evening; if it wasn 't for her friendliness and apologies for the tonight 's service that this review didn 't go negatively further .... Let 's hope you re-evaluate your staffing needs realizing that it 's now summer and people tend to go out and eat after sunset....
