W & Z Mongolian Buffet - Ames

Always good food, never disappointed I've ate here countless times. Love their sushi

I loved this place. It's got the generic and somewhat bland Chinese you'd expect at a buffet, but it also has a Huhot-like grill, sushi bar, and dim sum, all for a very reasonable price. Definitely will return the next time I pass through Ames.

I'm an over the road independent trucker and my stomach is very picky. I chose this place because I usually can't eat buffet and I can eat Mongolia Grill. I ate the Mongolia Grill, crawfish, Salmon, Sushi and black pepper chicken all of which were awesome toy surprise. Very good food, good service and quick This was one of my favorite Chinese restaurant. My only complaint was it was $15 which is a bit much, but with the best food I guess it's worth it

Daily prices are cheap, like around 13 to 14 bucks for lunch time. Dinner/brunch prices are around 16 to 17. The dinner/brunch times are the best, they have a wide variety of eastern and western meal options. The guys that work the grille are extremely fast and friendly. The young man that seats everyone is awesome, and the daily lunch/dinner server is on point. When they know it's going to be busy they are even more efficient with plenty of staff on hand to keep the customers flowing. They really are one of my favorites for a quick bite or a leisurely sit down lunch with friends.
