Bidra med feedbackThe place used to be fantastic. It's not even good. Eating sucks. No one knows how to cook breakfast dishes (has em 2x's. Manager never ran a restaurant. Too bad. If possible, there would be stars.
Breakfast buffet on Saturday. Eggs and potatoes were cold because the fire was outside. After I informed the staff about it, they brought out fresh eggs and potatoes. The potatoes were so subdued that I couldn't put my fork in them.
It's been a while since I've been there for a year, but I've had quite a lot of breakfast and dinner over the years. Since I was in the hotel, I would get breakfast buffet coupons and the buffet is especially on weekends when there is an Omlette bar. My mother's last birthday before her past I ordered a pork ham sandwich (which are epic!, and they know that I love was so big covered the whole plate that is huge. I asked where the rolls and blows were, and Adam the bartender showed to look under the lungs... It was so big that it covered both parts of the rolls, salad, tomato slices and onion slices. The look at my face had Adam and both lines laugh. I cut it in half, folded a half to the bungalow hanging around 3 inches over the edges of the bungalow. I didn't just eat until I was full, I ate until I was tired. The other half for a huge late evening dinner. I'm looking forward to staying with Gateway so I can dine here again
A Sunday brunch around 1115 or so, opened 630-1pm for brunch) they were busy as they are in a hotel and there was a wedding at night, so there seemed several large groups. They took our name and quoted a 30-minute waiting period that was exact. We sat and told the host immediately that we only have the buffet, they also offer gilded meals, and we were told that drinks were included and help us. $13 of every adult, not sure for children's fees) We quickly noticed that they were made from coffee and most juices, from sticky rolls and very low on several of the food options. We started to make our own waffles to wait for the buffet offers. Waffles were standard make-yourself hotel style, with classic topping selections as well as whipped cream and fruit compot. It took a server over 30 minutes to get to the table, but he apologized and checked back a few times before we finished. We ended up being able to sneak a sticky bungalow and wait long enough to see fresh offers on the hot buffet, the scrambled egg w/cheese, breakfast potatoes, cookies and gravy, bacon and sausage. They also offered cereals, oatmeal, fruit, a few prefabricated baked goods and bread w/toaster. The busiest stations were the omeletts that offered about a dozen different toppings to fill the slightly overfinished eggs. A hidden jewel was the salsa hanging with the hot sauces to add the eggs that was not spicy but full of taste. Because we never really saw our waiter, we were not informed about the **** Mary/Mimosa Bar, but the sign with the price list was seen. They ran out of plates, glasses, cups and bowls at the buffet, although the dining room was never really full. They did not seem to notice when things were going until they were brought to their attention by several males. One in our party of two had visited the week before and said that it was not as discombobulent as they visited. Four stars could be a bit high for our visit, but we hope it was a fuke based on previous experiences. I have a photo of weekly specials for those who are interested as they have lunch and dinner service all week.
Had my baby shower lunch here! Good prices for how fancy the food is! Waitress was lovely and accommodating. The cyclone wrap was delicious!!
