Carter's Fried Chicken Express

A local favorite. Don’t expect anything fancy here. The benches and wooden fixtures feel like they’ve been around since forever, and while they might not be pristine, they add to the charm. The fried chicken, burgers, and classic Southern breakfast options are some of the best you’ll find. Be prepared for a wait, though—there’s always a line!

I visited Carters through DoorDash, and while the food is great, I have a complaint. I always request mayo packs or cups for my fries, but when I ask for "none," I still receive a ton of mayo packs or cups. Why is that?

Good chicken. Great value, 2 pieces chicken 2 pages, roll and big drink under $8. Everything was hot and delicious.

Absolutely delicious fried chicken that was juicy and fresh, paired with tasty sides. The service was friendly and accommodating, and the prices were fantastic. I just wish we lived nearby so we could return!
