Don Toro - Alvor

Excelente bife no Don Toro, cozido na perfeição. Hambúrguer, frango e massa bons. Equipe simpática e eficiente, não é o mais barato, mas vale a pena. Sentado do lado de fora, muito agradável.

Pedimos nachos e anéis de cebola para começar. Os nachos são basicamente meio pacote de doritos em um prato com um molho simples. Os anéis de cebola estavam muito passados e extremamente duros. Os bifes estavam muito salgados. Estamos no nosso sétimo ano visitando Alvor e esta foi a nossa pior refeição até agora.

Excelente bife e molhos caseiros para acompanhar. Pedimos palitos de mozarella de entrada, que estavam deliciosos. Acabei indo duas vezes enquanto estava lá, o serviço é ótimo, funcionários muito amigáveis e prestativos. Quando informei que tinha alergia severa a nozes, eles cuidaram das minhas necessidades. Vale a pena uma visita se estiver em Alvor.

I was out with my family and they wanted to try this reastaurant, although I had told them that I had tried it before and not impressed. Anyway the terrace was near to empty so being that there was 8 of us we went in. I must say that the young girls who waited on us was very nice and helpful showing us to a table, taking our orders etc. Four of us ordered steak and out of the four three were not cooked the way we wanted it. We ask for medium rare and we got well done, the meat wasn't that good and sauce wasn't that tasty. So although the other parts of the meal starters, wine etc were okay, all in all still not impressed. We did point out our dissatisfaction and they knocked off the 1€ price of the sauces off the bill. 'GREAT'. .

The restaurant is in a relatively quiet location and is shaded in the evening so it's cool outside. Good choice of steak cuts, I went for the medium-sized rib-eye, cooked rare, and can't fault itGood price for a really tasty steak, cooked perfectly.Will be visiting again before the holiday is over (and getting the next size up!)
