Cajun Shack - Alvin

Disappointed in variety. Boiled and fried, no grilled or baked. Has boudain royal and it was excellent. With the had gumbo and offered more than fried foods.

It's not the famous crab but its my second favorite

One thing about Cajun Shack is their food is amazing. But I can not stand any place that can reject orders 45 minutes until close for 1 plate orders. 30 minutes or less I can understand. My last 2 encounters have been displeasing. In my last encounter they didn't have onion rings or strings. And waited to call me after my order was placed to say they didn't have the items. I really wish they'd do better in this aspect. I've worked customer service for 8 years at least if you're going to stop making orders at a certain time announce it or make it a known policy so customers know.

We really enjoyed the alligator bites, onion strings and dipping sauces. The catfish batter was very bland, didn’t taste seasoned at all. The wait staff was kind, but inattentive.

This was recommended to me by a few friends! We had the boudin balls which were great. The crawfish was absolutely amazing and the seasoning was on point. Can't wait to go back for more.
