Bidra med feedbackThe food was excellent, as well as the service. I was sceptic of this place after reading some (old) reviews, but it was a very pleasant surprise!
The food here is okay, but when we tried to pay with our (perfectly good) credit card, the terminal did not work repeatedly. Meanwhile, the waitstaff insisted there was no problem with their flaky terminal and it must be our card. My wife took an Uber back to our apartment to get enough cash to pay the bill, while I called our credit card company on the phone to try and clear things up. Of course, there was nothing wrong with our card and the company had no record of the attempted transactions. Finally a representative from the credit card company convinced the waiter to try and run the card manually. The waiter did this, and it actually worked, but before he did it he actually threatened to block my card if it didn 't work. So basically we had to put up with 30 minutes of unbelieving attempts to charge our card, two extra Uber trips, and a long phone call to the credit card company in order to pay with a perfectly valid card here. You would think that a supposedly nice restaurant like this would have more than one way to run a credit card, as many other places in Mexico City do. As it is, I would never even think of going back here when there are so many other great options available. Don 't let it happen to you!
A great experience in every detail of our visit to this restaurant: from a warm reception from the owner, a very efficient service and a superb quality of the dishes. It was obvious that the chef-owner is a passionate of the good food and wine and shares this passion with his guests. The terrace completes the experience with a nice view and atmosphere.
En verdad que me arrepiento de haber pasado frente a este restaurante durante tanto tiempo y no entrar ahí. Al fin, cuando me decidí a hacerlo, me sentí muy mal de no haberlo hecho antes. Tiene en la planta baja un tranquilo ambiente, pero la terraza es lo máximo. Bien techada, con aire que bien pasa por ahí, ventiladores cuya potencia produce un rico ambiente al conjuntarse con pequeñísimos chorros de agua. El servicio de primera, con sus meseros siempre listos a lo que uno requiere. El chef, más que de primera, al ser una excelente persona y español de nacimiento, conocedor de lo que cocina, y siempre pasa por cada mesa para ver las opiniones y necesidades de los comensales. Platillos excelentes como la paella valenciana, el jamón ibérico, las croquetas, entre otros, pero los camarones de la casa, que mezclan jugo de mandarina y ajo, son increíbles. Además tienen sidra española, muy rica. Los postres, para que les comento. Un inmejorable lugar español, de lo poco muy español en su comida.
Definitivamente creo que es la mejor paella del sur de la ciudad.Estuvimos en la terraza aunque no fumamos, pero es muy agradable.Qué detalle tan cálido el queso manchego que nos envió carlos.Los montaditos muy buenos.Felicidades
