El Don Pollo Y Carne Al Carbon - Alsip

One day when we were so busy in the afternoon and we were hungry, we remembered a place where they sell roast chickens and roast beef (they sell roast beef by the pound) we ordered chicken and roast beef to take away.Once at home when we started eating, this food was delicious, tasty and juicy.The Pure Tasty.

The Frijoles Charros and the chicken is the best!!!

Go through the drive through. No one else is there. Drive up to the window and sit for 10.min before having to knock on the window. Waited another 5 minutes and Was about to leave when a guy comes up saying oh sorry the waitress went to eat...there is no one in the drive thru and she leaves after taking an order...terrible. no wonder the place is empty. There are 20 taco joints in a mile radius. Do better.

This was my first visit here. We got take out and the customer service was friendly and attentive. Secondly, we waited about 5 minutes or so for our order. Also, the pollo tasted average or comparable to what's around. Lastly, the charro beans tasted great with the pollo and rice. This is our new spot for Mexican food!! We live off Pulaski so we tried all the local Mexican restaurants and this one is our favorite. El coyote used to be our go to. However, they have messed up our order too many times to count and the food is not nearly as good to me. Completely different experience at El Don and thankfully it’s right across the street. How they prepare their steak is my favorite, the guac is always fresh, and we’ve never had one complaint in the 5 times we’ve ordered here so far.
