Taiwan Tái Shì Fàn Bīng Bīng

Going into the restaurant, out of 6 tables, 2 tables were used by the owner to chit chat. They are not busy but also not very eager to serve customers. Interior is not aesthetic. They have 2 types of shaved ice, normal ice kacang type coarse ice and the thinner ice claimed to mimic Taiwan snowflake ice. All coarse ice out of stock so you 're left to choose the so called snowflake ice which does not resemble at all and worst is it is 2x the price of the coarse ice at a whopping RM16 and above. For a non cafe vibe restaurant it is expansive. Alot of other things on the menu is not available as well. Felt that the food is not on par with the price paid.

Ordered via FoodPanda Lu Rou Fan (Braised pork rice) meat is little /stingy Egg is not braised with the sauce, gave me white egg! like nasi lemak What's the cabbage for? not normal Taste: I had better ones elsewhere in AS (hint near Lotus Mergong) Chicken Chop Rice Chicken meat is fairly alot Good that they added the half boil egg even got potato chips! this one is acceptable taste

Food are relatively nice. Suggested beverage will be their 九份芋圆

Good place to hang out while having ice dessert when weather is too hot. Reasonable price. Fried chicken is pretty good. Braised pork rice is below average.

Very slow service. Last time, understandable coz short of workers. Since reopen, enough workers but they can stand there chatting while we sit there hungrily
