Celaru Kitchen - Alor Setar

This place serves the best roti canai in Alor Star, always my go to breakfast spot. Ran by a local family for years, now with 2 stores that are always full house every time I visit. Must try their signature Roti Celaru, Roti Plaster Roti Gebu. The dhal is simple yet fantastic, mixed and added with sambal.

Their food was really nice and had variety to it. Self-serve yourself and give the order paper to the counter. The 'celaru ' one is their gravy actually because I can 't describe how it tastes but it still kicks on. Overall, fast service, good food and make sure you go early because it sure is filled up quick.

Located at the corner lot, near Sultanah Bahiyah Road. Easy to access, there are u turn 'from ' and 'to ' the location. Open from early morning to 6 p.m. The special menu on board is Roti Celaru, same as the restaurant 's name.

Waiting time for only one roti canai is the worst. i waited 2 hours and they delivered the roti canai not even with proper manners. the food was nice but not worth waiting with the really bad service and rude workers
