Bidra med feedbackI'm sure this place is nice for a night out because it's got a nicer upscale vibe, but I ordered for pickup and it took 50 minutes instead of 15 minutes as I had been told on the phone. Keep in mind the restaurant was VERY slow because it was afternoon during week day. The food wasn't good enough to make up for this. Chipotle or chick fil a would have been less expensive and much quicker for similar quality. I think there was a communication issue amongst the staff.
Service and drinks are top notch. The bang bang shrimp app was great. After that it was downhill. I had the tuna poke bowl and it was not good. The onion was so strong it overpowered the entire dish! The tuna was diced up and definitely frozen and flavorless. I couldn't eat much of it. Basically tasted like I was eating onions and rice. My husband had the butterfish with lump crab. The piece of fish was small and so were the bits of crab which were not jumbo or lump. My daughter had a pasta scampi dish which was the best out of the three dinners. All in all it was a disappointing meal and I wouldn't rush back.
2/21/2022 Corn chowder with lump crab soup was good this time, but again not hot enough. We both asked for soup to be returned to kitchen for more heating. When soup was returned , it was too hot, which is what happened last time. I really enjoyed tuna poke, just wished there was more tuna. Friend ordered lobster tails, which were really good, but lobster and mashed potatoes were not served hot enough. So she asked waiter to bring hot butter, which was okay. She said Caesar dressing tasted like they made it, but salad not chilled like last time. 11/22/2021 Small, housemade sliced loaf of bread comes with herbs in olive oil for dipping. We also split an order of Bang Bang Shrimp, which had a kick to it and was really good. Friend ordered Salmon, which was overcooked and hard. So they prepared another salmon which was undercooked inside. She told waitress she did not want the Salmon, so they took it off her bill. She did like chilled Caesar salad. Rainbow Trout tasted fishy, lemon butter sauce made it more edible. Waitress forgot to bring more lemon I asked for. Asparagus tasted unusual, perhaps like from a can. Servers were mostly young people who don't have much experience, One of them suddenly cranked up music volume, not realizing that type music at that volume is inappropriate for fine dining establishment. Friend had to ask ask two different employees to turn volume down before it was finally turned down. Filet Mignon was cooked well done over flame grill. It was tender but still needed to be eaten with garlic mashed potatoes. Garlic mashed potatoes were very good. Food is inconsistent at Bonefish because they don't always have qualified people to prepare food in kitchen.
Food is always good but portions are sometimes small especially on there specials. Typically service is exceptional and drinks are good. However the last time I went in here service was rough and the bartender ended up taking care of our table until the very end when the original server brought the bill.
Service was great went for my husband birthday ! For the app we order calamari. The drinks were nice and strong and the entree was delish. Restaurant was not noisy and clean . Would definitely go again
