Spice Thai Cafe - Allen

I REALLY want to love this place so badly, but the kitchen is unpredictable. I only order 1 dish, Chicken Pad Thai-heat level 2, and I've ordered it 10-15 times. Every time it tastes different, sometimes so sweet or fishy it's inedible...and the heat level 2 is either no heat, or so spicy I can only eat 1 noodle at a time lol. Those few times it's been properly made, it's been PERFECT though!!!!!

This is the BEST Thai food in the Allen/McKinney area! I’ve been coming here for years. Great quality and great portion sizes. Highly recommend!

Great food, no frills. I ordered Pad Thai, Crab Cheese Wontons, and Rice Soup. Everything tasted magnificent.

Very disappointed with order after requesting substitution of green beans for bean sprouts, and it was totally ignored. When I called to complain I was told the wording was confusing to the chef. Can't understand SUBSTITUTE in a restaurant???

Love their Thai herb chicken and pineapple fried rice. We have ordered from them for at least 6 years. We still enjoy the food!
