I love places like this when I travel. It was homey, and the food was phenomenal. The owner served me a massive portion of freshly made tortilla chips accompanied by a very mild salsa while I waited, but I didn't wait longer than 5 minutes for my food. It was all fresh and obviously made with pride and a personal love of food. For dessert, I couldn't pass up the churros, which were the best I'd ever had! I'll make it a point to go there again the next time I'm in the area. Vegetarian options: While truly vegan options are lacking, the mushroom taco was absolutely splendid. If you aren't opposed to eggs and dairy, you'll find lots of other options too.

EDIT: Must be a new owner. The food is NOT GOOD. I heard the microwave beep when my food was ready. The taco was exactly the same as you can make at home with the hard shell and ground beef and lettuce and cheese. This Mexican food is as real as it gets. Sundays they sell amazing menudo.
