Bidra med feedbackYou really have to go here... before it goes bust. Ever shrinking opening hours, inadequate staff, and a just-too-late supply chain that means that your favourite drink or severely limited snack will not be available. But the guy that runs it is a nice guy, just has a business plan that involves a death spiral. So go here and support him before he opens a GoFundMe page.
The most unfriendly and unwelcome bar we’ve been to in all our 20 years in this area. We were called ‘walk-ins’ and turned away as we hadn’t pre-booked fish and chips! It’s a very basic bar/ cafe not an upmarket restaurant. In what sane world does an efficient business turn customers away? Do you have to pre- book beer too? These walk-ins walked out and won’t be back. Their loss!
Go early if you'd like Yorkshire puddings with your roast! Popular with English speaking clientele, this bar is near several others in the relatively small town of La Romana but we'd definitely single it out if we went back to the area. From the delicious meal and proper pints of cold beer to the pleasant conversational staff, what more could one ask? Recommended!
Went for the first time on Friday for their Fish Chips Friday but also because they had a live band on. Quite a large venue with a decent size stage just to the left of the entrance which is on a corner. Plenty of tables though mostly full due to a 50th birthday party taking up a large section at the back of the venue. We were not told about that when we booked. Due to the lack of space we were sat with a couple of nice gentlemen whom we shared the table with. The fish Chips were OK without being outstanding and the Cajun Chicken was very good. We were told about a quiz night on Monday so went back for that. Good fun and raising money for abandoned dogs, so all in a good cause too. Will be back
Bar precioso. Comida deliciosa. Anoche fuimos con nuestro equipo de fútbol y nos lo pasamos genial. El personal fue muy amable.
