Bidra med feedbackBusy restaurant with nice outside area. There were cheaper set menus on offer but we decided to go for the A La Carte entrecôte steak. Big mistake! It was a plateful of gristle with a few chips and virtually inedible. I left pretty well all of the meat and mentioned to the waitress that it was not very good and she advised she would let the chef know. We paid €50 for a couple of drinks and two very poor steaks. Did not offer good value for money and left a very bad taste in our mouths! The worst meal of our two week trip unfortunately.
Nice location and lighting.Fixed menus fairly priced and good value, a la carte not so. Food average to average minus. Service average minus. Will not return, but not a horror story either.
Very good restaurant, fast service and well cooked dishes, good piece of meat, homemade fries and homemade desserts! (Very good chocolate marrow). The place is very quiet, away from the noise of other restaurants, on a beautiful place at the foot of a castle.

Located in the pretty village of Algojola in high Corsica, U Castellu is a charming place in the heart of the Balagne. This guest house is the ideal place to meet and enjoy an incredible view between sea and mountain. The rooms are rustic but decorated with a lot of taste. Breakfast on the terrace offers an incredible view and the homemade cakes of Maud are a pleasure. In the evening, if you are a little tired, you are strongly advised to go to the restaurant terrace (at the back of the house) for a local culinary experience.
