Bidra med feedbackWe went to the Blues at the Bay Festival in Alexandria Bay at the Labor Day weekend. This restaurant is directly in the water and very busy. We waited a short time at the bar until a table was ready and sat in a great place. Our server was attentive and friendly as well as fast. The bartender was too. I ordered the squid with Pommes and Coleslaw. It was delicious. My friend ordered the steak and cheese roll and was also delicious. I would definitely eat there again and recommend it to anyone in the area during the summer season!
Even if the weather is bad, sit on the side! It's mostly covered. Only for us non-smoking outside near the seats. Service was fantastic, food was amazing. Our server was very knowledgeable about portion size and combinations of what went well together. We didn't want a lot of food, we were pretty hungry, but we didn't want any more remains when we couldn't take them. We ordered the Lobster Mac (yes, get it!). That was not a big part, but it was enough. The other meal we got was the brisket and bbq platter. It was huge! And delicious. For one side we chose potatoes, came with corn bread. I really enjoyed the Bbq and sauce. The only thing I didn't wear was the horse sauce with the brisket. It was a little heavy on the sauce, light on the horseradish. The two meals together were more than enough to share for two hungry adults.
Amazing food. Everything was perfect and so the service was for a busy place that was not crowded. It was hard to get to the bathroom and I sat around the corner and the Special bbq tastes like mustard. Apart from that it was perfect, the view was just everything.
Large view of a part of the St Lawrence River. Friendly people, good food.
Been going here for years, for as long as I can remember, with the Youells family. Their food is great, the view is often lovely, and the patio is a delight on warm, sunny days. If nothing else, you should stop and drink a lemonade or something on the patio facing the water. The environment is fantastic during the day, though it can get a bit rowdy at dinnertime.
