Rocklands Barbeque Grilling Company (alexandria)

The ribs were burned slightly. Normally the ribs are very well prepared. I have been very satisfied with Rocklands for years but recently not so much. This is my second bad experience.

Got the 3 meats plate. Biggest issue was the meat being decent but all of the sauces were basically some version of spices ketchup, especially whatever sauce they covered the meat in without asking. Thin sliced brisket is pointless and hides the quality (or lack there of) of the meat+smoking.Beans were better than the brisket and chicken. Enjoyable onion rings.I personally will not be back because it was boring and nearly felt like a waste of time. Probably similar quality to mission.Parking: Went on a Friday night and only 2 other customer groups so easy to get parking.

Lovely place with really great food! They have fantastic holiday specials if you don't want to cook. The food is fresh and they're always happy to talk through different options with food choices. It can be a bit overwhelming.Overall pretty darn great give it a go.Ooo and also try out their sweet tea. It is a nice mint sweet tea, it is hard to get enough of it.Cheers!

I'm writing this as I'm eating, and so far everything's been super delicious. I had a bit of the brisket and it was really tender and delicious. The beef rib is absolutely massive and very tasty. The sandwich is also very delicious. The food arrived really quickly and still hot so I am very happy with my items.

I would recommend going to Rocklands, the BBQ was tasty and the smoke flavor was amazing! I love the selection of hot sauces you can buy when you are checking out. They have the Hot Ones sauces too ?
