Duke St Ice House - Alexandria

It's quite pricey, but you have to pay a premium for quality products! I want to share my experience because I've tried many cheaper supermarkets and found their products lacking. Whole Foods may be expensive, but I have to admit that the items there are fresh, and you can find almost anything you need. Today, I’m giving them 4 stars simply because I know I can find cheaper options elsewhere, but they don't compare to the quality of Whole Foods!

This whole food store is fantastic! It offers a wide variety of products, and the displays are beautifully arranged. The store itself is neat, clean, and has a lovely atmosphere. The staff provides friendly service, making it easy to find everything you need—plus some items you might not have expected. There's also a convenient parking garage downstairs. This was my first visit to this location, and I absolutely loved it!

I chose to stay and enjoy the amazing salad bar, but unfortunately, I needed to use the restroom. It was the worst I have ever encountered—dark, unclean, and only two stalls available. I couldn't bring myself to stay in there. Next time, I think I'll just take my food home to eat. It's really disappointing. Now I have to go home and shop for my groceries elsewhere. Please do better!

This is a fantastic spot to enjoy your Whole Foods meal while sitting down and people-watching. You can also savor a refreshing drink, whether it’s coffee, beer, wine, or something from their cooler. The staff is wonderful—helpful and attentive.
