China Garden - Alexandria

China Garden was satisfactory. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken and shrimp spring roll. The Kung Pao chicken was good, not overly salty, and the shrimp roll was also tasty. While nothing stood out as exceptional, the food was decent enough to warrant a rating of 2.75 stars and a recommendation. One downside was that I had to pay for my water, as there was no soda fountain available and I did not enjoy canned Coke. Additionally, the restaurant provided plastic forks and paper plates, and lacked silverware. The ambiance was minimal, with basic furnishings and no tableware provided.

I will not be going back. The service was terrible, they gave me the wrong order, argued with me about it and then double charged me. Never was there a hint of an apology. The food was ok. I am addressing this through American Express as I have no faith that they will resolve this on their own.

Pretty great food. Orange chicken, pepper steak, and wonton soup was very good. They are very fast and friendly!

My daughter really enjoyed the Lo Mein. The food was tasty and fresh, we will definitely be coming back again. Update: We returned today and ordered 3 meals. The portions were generous and the food was excellent, especially considering the price.

The food was served hot and quickly, with generous portions for the price. We dined in the restaurant and noticed that the tables were promptly cleaned as soon as patrons departed.
