The Merlin - Alderley Edge

The service was very slow. complained about the burned chips and was burned even more than. the crispy crispy on the pork was not crispy and also the waiting staff have no idea about etiquette as with our table to serve someone else table is not really something they expect. overall disappointed

A very beautiful experience. we had all sunday roasts and the bark was excellent. the bubble pig was not so good and a small part. the personal was very friendly and the service good so that everyone had a pleasant meal.

Booked a table through open table for 7.30 for my wife son and me. the booking was accepted and confirmed. we imagined that the whole restaurant was picked up and had become a special evening. we went to the entrance and said we could only buy a ticket for the event, but these were sold out. we then had to go to alderley edge to get a table in another restaurant that, as they can understand, without booking was prat impossible. we waited for an hour for a table in gustos. a bad experience.

The service was dire; firstly the waitress decided to memorise our order instead of writing it down (so naturally got parts of it wrong! . Then it took 15/20mins for any drinks to turn up after ordering them. We were given the wrong menus to start off and couldn’t order some of the items on it. Food was really tasty and saved the experience but all in all, the worst service we’ve ever received at such a nice place.
