Alderley - Alderley Edge

Yes ! fathers day, a lovely day. He really enoyed the food , a bit greasy for me, I had the Haloumi wine was very expensive too. But all good service was exellent. The children loved it too. Would recommend especially because there was sport on the Tv screeens !!!

Had lunch in the Alderley Restaurant at Alderley Edge recently. The food was excellent as was the service. The staff were very attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant was very light and pleasant. I would definitely go again.

Pennyblacks in Birmingham serves good quality food but probably not worth the price tag it goes with. I would revisit for drinks as the bar was well stocked with a good range of sprits but would eat elsewhere. The only other problem was that the waitress who seated us didn't have our reservation. When I told her it was through Toptable she advised me they don't use the website. Showed her the confirmation I had but feel that we only got the table as we went early and there was space.

We took my mum here for lunch on her 60th birthday. It was a lovely setting in the conservatory so nice and bright. The service was very good waiters were attentive without being too over bearing. Food was excellent superbly presented. The toliets are a little outdated and we were by far the youngest people in the restaurant (but it was a Tuesday lunchtime I suppose! Overall a great outing!

Went for lunch on New Year's Eve. Service was excellent, food was good and it was good value for money. Good selection of beers ... they even let us try before we ordered to see which we liked!
