Bidra med feedbackThis was my second time at Seared. Was looking forward to another delicious entree. Unfortunately I ordered the Cowboy Ribeye with bone marrow. The ribeye was tough with little to no marbling. The bone had the membrane in it but no marrow. When I got home in better lighting it looked like the steak had been cooked from a frozen state-as though it had freezer burn. Very disappointed. My dogs got to eat the $53 steak. Hit or miss!! My honey took me here for my bday. Neither of us had ever been here, so the excitement was high. We arrived and were greeted almost immediately and shown to our table. Unfortunately, due to the air conditioning blowing directly onto our table, we did ask to move to another table. Which we were very happy with, btw. We were given water upon getting settled in our new digs, which was fortunate due to the rather large delay in our server making an appearance. The menu read lovely, and we were excited to start a new gastronomic adventure. We ordered drinks, I had a long island iced tea, and my honey had the blueberry lemonade. Mine was a little stout, but his lemonade was delicious. On to appetizers(pictured) , I had the pine nut encrusted brie an my honey had the Caprasie salad. Both were delightful. I chose a salad, and my baby chose the French onion soup to accent our entrees. I can say unequivocally that soup is an absoulety stellar offering. Rich broth, wonderful meltty cheese, an absolute delight. The salad, on the other hand, was dismal. I was thrilled to see that they had French dressing(homemade) as an option. I was so disappointed when the dressing was so sharp from the amount of acid that it was actually painful to eat. Our entrees arrived shortly after and again hit and miss. Both were beautiful in the presentation. I had the Frenched Pork Chop with Scalloped potatoes and an apple and fennel salad. My honey had the lamb chops with chimichurri roasted potatoes and green chile creamed corn. My pork was lovely, and the whole grain mustard sauce delicious. Unfortunately, that is all I can complement for this dish. Suffice it to say I found the potatoes to be inedible, and the salad was like an afterthought. My honeys lamb arrived to the table almost raw, not med rare as requested. His roasted red potatoes were outstanding. The green chile creamed corn was a disappointment, in the fact that it was so spicy that it was almost inedible. Moving on to dessert, I am a pastry chef myself, and I am incredibly picky about desserts. We settled on the Creme Brullle. It is one of my favorites, and I'm sad to say this one was disappointing. It was far too firm, tasted to eggy, and didn't melt in your mouth. Also, this may be a personal preference thing, but plain vanilla, not vanilla bean....really??? All in all, we both felt it to be a hit and miss experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: French Onion Soup
One of my favorite places for Happy Hour. Their HH menu has excellent choices, have tried just about everything. My favorites are the charcuterie board(great price for amount quality of items served), pizza logs, wings. Great place for delicious Cocktails, only $8 during Happy Hour. Service is always top notch. Our server was a very lovely guy. Seemed passionate about the place he worked in. Atmosphere was good, fancy but casual. Check your bill before you pay all our items came back $2 more than the menu price (before tax) and when mentioned they did nothing about it. Food was incredibly average for the price we paid. Would not come here again. Not a Karen, just an accountant. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: House Salad, Lamb Chops
