Gobble This - Albuquerque

Let me highlight the positives first: the staff were friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, the patio was lovely, and the pupusas and fried yucca were delicious. However, there were some disappointments as well. The chicharrones were overcooked and inedible, although they were quickly replaced with a tasty batch. The portion sizes of every dish were quite small and not sufficient for an adult lunch, which was surprising given the prices. Additionally, our food took an hour to arrive. After placing our order, we were asked for payment, which we completed, only to be told we would have to wait at least another 20 minutes. With only around 6 to 9 other patrons in the restaurant, we expected the wait wouldn't be much longer than that. Perhaps there were unexpected issues in the kitchen. Despite our experience, given the many positive reviews, we might consider giving this place another try, but our first impression was not great.

What a lovely little eatery! I was surprised to find Salvadoran food at this charming spot called Gobble This. As I walked by, I admired the beautiful old architecture and the abundant plants. I really appreciate the indoor/outdoor atmosphere, with the space flowing seamlessly from front to back. There was a bit of a line and a wait, so I'll have to return for a meal another time. For now, I’m giving it 5 stars for its ambiance and uniqueness! I can’t wait to eat here soon!

This restaurant is disorganized. Their hours are unreliable, making it nearly impossible to plan a visit. I attempted to go three times. During the first two visits, their Google listing indicated they were open, but there was no one present. On my third try, it showed they were open, but I was turned away because of a private event, even though there were other customers inside who were not part of the event. Overall, it feels chaotic and unprofessional.

We really enjoyed our meal. Chef Nestor is the best. We had the tacos and puspusa! We especially love the changing menu. The old Adobe building and patio are a beautiful!

Gobble This is a treasure here in our land of enchantment! Every time I visit, I leave with a full heart and belly. The food is phenomenal and the cafe has a beautiful, relaxed vibe. Old Town?s best kept secret! Side note: Don?t be scared off by thenegative reviews. Tourists like to trash the way business owners do things around here. (Old town buildings are ancient andrequiere intense upkeep, facilities aren?t for public use!
