Bidra med feedbackIncredible restaurant. The food is locally grown…five star! Outstanding service and attention to detail. Do not miss out on this gem!
Have had many a breakfast, brunch and dinner in QDM and it has never failed us. The only downside is that their prices have increased! Food quality still gorgeous and the setting is so peaceful. So lucky to have this gorgeous place on our doorstep. Many visitors/friends that we've always brought there, return, so that's obviously a good sign. Sofia is a lovely, courteous and friendly staff member, where nothing is a problem. In my opinion, if you're visiting Vilamoura/Albufeira/Olhos d'Agua, make a trip to Quinta do Mel
Beautiful setting with great panoramic views. No printed menus available all has to be done by using App on your phone? Very frustrating and difficult when you dont have a phone able to scan. Prices are ridiculously expensive. We had 1 dish which was black pork sausage which came with 3 figs, cost 10.50E. 1 dish which was Tuna salad priced at 19.90E, No side dishes or salad or chips. A bottle of white wine, which was very good, but the price of 25E was at least 2.5 times the actual cost of the wine which, in our opinion is way to expensive!! We were puzzled at why this restaurant is so expensive, in comparison with many other quality restaurants we visited. Definitely wont be going back as we simply dont like being ripped off.
Relaxed atmosphere. Countryside Setting. Friendly staff and by far the best restaurant food out of many restaurants of our stay over 5 weeks. I would highly recommend this wonderful place.
We have visited Quinta do Mel on several occasions, though we haven’t lodged there. All the occasions we were there we liked the food, the service, and the staff. We have tried the brunch, which was good and very fulfilling. On that occasion, as we were accompanied by friends that didn’t eat cold cuts, immediately they were presented with a substitution. Another time, we were there also for breakfast that can be ordered either as standard breakfast or à la carte. One weekend, we had the opportunity to attend a Wine Dinner. It was a wine pairing dinner that had several tasty and well-presented courses paired with very good wines. Our last visit before writing this review was yesterday, when we had afternoon tea with friends. All these occasions were enhanced with the delightful surroundings at different times of the day. We weren’t disappointed. Last but not least, we did the guided tour at Quinta do Mel’s farm to learn about the production of aromatic herbs. Since the tour was interesting, we also visited and did the tour at twin Quinta do Freixo to learn about their production gems and liquors. Overall, these places are highly recommended for visiting.
