Very good Cataplana even if I initially disliked clams

Jantamos duas vezes no restaurante. O acolhimento é muito agradável, o pessoal muito atencioso. A comida é deliciosa, peixe ultra fresco e comida caseira. E os preços são muito acessíveis. Principalmente se procura um restaurante típico em Albufeira, não hesite!

Simplesmente ótimo. Em alguns dias há até um artista solo lá e comemos lá 5 vezes em vez de 2 vezes. Muito bom, boa comida e ambiente agradável no restaurante. Definitivamente voltaremos no próximo ano.

Visited twice while staying locally for 7 days so I think that says a lot. You can sit indoors or outside in a lovely secret garden style patio and there is a small play area for little ones, although enticing my daughter back to actually eat wasn’t always easy! The staff are excellent, very friendly and the food on offer is good grilled meats and fish and seafood. We had the black pig the first visit and really could have got one portion between 2 of us after having a starter as the portions were huge. Black pig is just so delicious with the crispy fat and tender, flavoursome meat but very filling and there was lots of it. My daughter had ribeye from the children’s menu and it could have fed me easily. The next visit we had a seafood platter with crab, prawns, lobster and oysters and it was was absolutely beautiful. Price wise was very reasonable. We left the first night paying roughly £80 for 2 adults, and one child with a starter, 3 mains and a bottle of wine. The seafood platter night was about £100 which again I think is extremely good for what we had. We will definitely return on our next visit to the area! P.s I’ve seen comments regarding soft veg, and it tends to be the way in Portugal! If this would put you off visiting please don’t let it, just ask them to swap it to salad!

What a fabulous experience! Fish was beyond perfect and quality of service amazing! A place to know in beautiful Algarve!
