Happy Garden - Albox

Excellent restaurant, seen a bad revue posted snd was bamboozled. Go here often and NEVER disappointed. If you are in a hurry this is not the place to go as all food cooked to order, not reheated which is preferable to most people. If your looking for quality food at very reasonable prices with staff who never stop and are always helpful and courteous, this is the place to go. Soups are A1.

Very friendly waiting staff provide a menu with a dizzying selection of dishes at reasonable prices. We have visited several times and enjoyed every dish we ordered. Food is served piping hot on heated trays or in hollowed bamboo holders. The restaurant gets very full as many people appreciate it, so worth arriving in good time.

My wife and I tried this Asian restaurant for the first time with a couple of friends. We were staying on holiday in our son's villa in Albanchez and decided to book this restaurant for a change. We have eaten in various places around Albox over the years and I am more than happy to recommend the Happy Garden to anyone who enjoys Asian food. The place is very clean, the service excellent and a wide variety of Asian dishes are on the menu at reasonable prices. Facility for car parking right outside the building is an added bonus.

Always a warm welcome. Food is good and decent portions but find that prices are above average for rural, inland Spain. It does get busy but staff will usually accommodate walk-ins. Korean Bibimbap is a good value dish to share and by adding a couple of other dishes (for two people).

Really disappointed at our recent visit to this restaurant We always make a point of visiting when we're over staying with friends and have always been more than satisfied with the experience. However, this time was very different, we'd booked a table as we know it's popular but, upon arrival they knew nothing about our reservation and were quite rude. They were very busy but offered us a table in the corner being used to store glasses. There we waited and waited for, firstly the table to be set, this didn't happen or at least the glasses to be cleared, which took about 20 minutes. We then managed to get someone's attention so that we could order a drink and the wait began again Eventually we left 40 minutes after our booking without anything! Sadly we won't be returning until they employ more staff and the standards they once had, return.
