Murph's Sports - Albia

We stayed in Murphs while we visited the city for the week, and it was the right choice. Small town diving bar with amazing people. We loved it enough that we came back every night. Good prices on drinks, cheap pool and good conversations. I come out of my way to visit Murph again.

Great place to visit and have a cold beverage...but I didn't see any Saints memorabilia..

Nice enough place if you are looking for a pub or dive bar. Efficient staff and they serve nice cold beer.Murph's just didn't feel as friendly as most small town bars that we visited on this trip.

I sat at the bar for a good 30 minutes, even watched a full inning of softball on their TV and couldn't not get any service. It was like I wasn't there. The owner and the other woman working the bar looked at me several times then went to take care of others. I felt like I didn't exist as a customer. Had it not been for my cousins, I would not go there and will not go again.
