Highway - Albia

My daughter and I went through and decided to eat. eating is delicious! every single bite! our server was so friendly and sweet. it was perfect! the best server of all time! two traveling from kansas definitely recommend the highway restaurant!

So many things....waitress acted like it was her first day and we had to repeat the orders several times, very slowly and still she still sent out some wrong food. This all wpuld have been fine and i can understand being new ans such-if you have a good attitude. When i said something politely, she just shrugged her shoulders and said the kitchen must've screwed it up. I asked if I could please try the sauce of a dish before I ordered it and she acted like I had asked her to move mountains. About 15 minutes later, she came back and asked if I was ready to order. I said....ummm I'm not sure, I haven't gotten to taste the Alfredo sauce yet. She said, oh, yeah no he said no. So, I didn't order it and just went with a burger. Not sure what happened after that, because she stopped waiting on us and someone else finished waiting on us and the first one never came back. The second waitress was very kind and I wish we would of had her the entire time. When we came in, the waitress put us in the back booth and it was extremely hot in that area. She said there was no where else to sit. Then we noticed 2 very large booths that sat unoccupied the entire time we were there, that was in a much cooler section with fans directly above them both. Very frustrating and couldn't wait to leave. Will not be back.

Fantastic food and lots of it for the price. Very friendly staff and quite atmosphere. will be returning for sure.

Love the varieties . Never left hungry. Great value. Quick service. Love the roast beef wrap with fries and soup. Excellent soups
