Starbucks - Albany

I am a volunteer who helps clean up litter in my town, and I wanted to share my experience with the Starbucks located on the corner of Hill and 9th street in Albany, OR. The restaurant has a beautiful landscape with foliage and rock gardens, but unfortunately, there is a significant amount of debris scattered throughout the area. The garbage bin enclosures are among the worst maintained that I have seen, with debris being embedded in both the foliage and rocks. Every time I thought I had cleaned up all the litter, I would find more. This seems to be a common issue with Starbucks locations, as I have also noticed similar problems at their facility on N. Albany Rd. While that location is slightly better maintained, it is likely due to it being shared with other merchants. It is worth noting that Starbucks' lack of attention to cleanliness violates our town's ordinance regarding the proper disposal of debris on their property. I am no longer a customer at Starbucks due to these issues.

The baristas were friendly and the service was quick. However, I suggest ordering through the app beforehand for a smoother experience.

Ordered on the app yesterday 4/2/22 and my card was charged but when I got there the location was CLOSED.Not my reg location, but app ordering should be shut off if location is closed.BAD MANAGEMENT!

Better than Dutch Bros. But you'll have a better time if you just make coffee at home
