Nine Pin Cider Works - Albany

Went for pre-show drinks. Good cider selection and nice small food menu.

Was the cider good? Yes. Was the place cool? Also yes. Was the service good? NOPE. Two separate experiences with a rude employee. First cocky when just making conversation then gets mad because a customer throws trash in a trash bin…. On the way out the door we tossed trash in a bin by the door and she proceeds to yell across the way “ummm that trash is covered so I didn’t have to take it out tonight” .. as if the customer would ever know that intention when looking at a trash can?Way to make people feel awkward in your establishment. After processing that she was talking to us we offered to remove the trash and place it in another bin inside and she brushed us off saying it was “fine”. If it was fine to begin with then why holler across the way how this was inconveniencing you? 100% won’t be back… plenty of other places where people were much kind and welcoming.

The counter lady was outstanding and incredibly and made me feel great about spending money while she listen to what my desires were.

I've tried many of their ciders and they were all delicious. Great place to relax and have a few ciders. We got a couple of the little personal pizzas they had and they were delicious

The food is mostly an accompaniment to the cider, which is excellent.They have a wide variety of self-produced ciders and other interesting local beers and ciders by rotation.Either the 4-glass or the 9-glass sampler is excellent.There is no table service and in some respects the tasting room is still a bit rough about the edges. Maybe this is supposed to be part of its charm.
