Café Calabria - Albany

We travel for work a lot and stopped by to try this local family Italian restaurant. Coming from Utica,Rome area we are spoiled with Italian food. This was just as good if not better.

It was our first time there and we had a wonderful time. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was great. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing our first time here. Authentic Italian cuisine like no other place we've been. The Chicken Piccata and lasagna moist and bursting with flavor, the meatballs, rolotini so moist and the ricotta wow...brings me back to Sunday dinner when I was a child. And the the staff very friendly and accommodating, thank you Lisa....lastly the chocolate cake.....omg! Silky smooth..thank you Alissa Gennaro

I’ve been here a few times so far in the last cpl weeks. I love the new bar and the cocktails have been wonderful! The staff are warm and welcoming and knowledgeable! The chef is accommodating and delightful! I loved the shrimp scampi. You can’t go wrong with the house filled cannolis and an espresso martini for desert.

Two of us sat at the new bar for dinner. Food was fantastic, great Manhattan and Aprol Spritz, friendly atmosphere. Have always enjoyed Calabria and the new bar just makes it better!
