Blaze Pizza - Albany

I've eaten half a dozen times here and was happy with my pizza every time. I particularly appreciate the vegan cheese option and gluten-free crust. I'm not vegan, but have a milk allergy that would normally make pizza completely out of limits. This place is saved to make pizza for me. As far as customer service is concerned, this location was good. Today they have actually screwed up my order, but they have handled it very well.

Honestly I was skeptical of this place, an entire cheese pizza for $6.99 seemed too good to be true. But when we ordered 3 pizzas two drinks,an order of bread sticks for less than $30, and two pizzas had toppings I was shocked. The ingredients are super fresh, they make each pizza custom to your liking and out of the oven in under 12 minutes. The only thing I wasn't crazy about were the s'mores cookies, it was good but not what I imagined.

Stephen was putting love into the art of pizza! You can tell when someone loves what they do. Best pizza in a very long time. Sorry, no photos, I ate it!! Hope he is working the next time I am there.

I got pizza with Spicy red sauce, mozzarella, circle mozzarella, parm, ricotta, all the yummy cheese, sausage, meatball, bacon, onions, minced garlic, banana peppers, lettuce. Powder garlic, seasoning no salt but pepper is fine. Drizzzle half with balsamic half with olive oil. I ate whole thing in 20 mins. Very yumbo in my tumbo. Can’t do too much because it big portion but will go again next weeks.

Overall this place deserves five stars. The service tends to be hit or miss but I can understand why. Nobody really wants to sit there and make pizza all day so sometimes you go and the people are very slow and unhappy. But it doesn't really take away from the experience of getting your own pizza made with whatever and the food is always good.
