Ha-la Sushi - Alamo

My wife and I love this place. Ken and his team are absolutely fantastic and we go here weekly.

We eat here frequently. They serve quality food which is fresh and tasty. The staff are friendly, know us by name remember our order at every visit. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere was nice, but that's all i have that's nice to say about Ha-La.(Used to be called Ha-Ru (which was a real Japanese word Ha-La is not. My girlfriend and I ordered, but our food came out at different times.(We pretty much ate separately. My dinner was delivered first (cold and had way too much Teriyaki sauce. Our second order was also cold and covered in way too much sauce. Once we were done eating we were stuck waiting for the check and had to call for the server out loud disrupting the other guests. Shortly thereafter both of us had terrible intestinal distress. Ha-La ? more like HA-HA...what a joke.

This is a great neighborhood for sushi and is our destination in the Danville/Alamo area. The ingredients are always fresh, and they have the best miso soup. The staff is really attentive and friendly. To-go orders are carefully packed and double checked. Our children always ask to order from our 'normal sushi place' if they want Ha-La Sushi.

First time there food ok. I just went there tonight to get to go. I stood there 10 min nobody helped. I will not go back again.
