Ha-la Sushi - Alamo

The sushi was absolutely amazing! The flavors were exquisite. I chose to sit at the sushi bar and had the opportunity to converse with the sushi chef, who has an impressive 17 years of experience. Each dish was presented beautifully. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy. While it is somewhat expensive, it truly stands out as a step above the typical sushi restaurant.

Absolutely amazing sushi in the East Bay! The sashimi is outstanding, and the rolls are incredibly tasty. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant!

My mom and I used to have lunch at Ha-La Sushi almost every Thursday for quite a while, and it was always one of the highlights of our week. The staff was incredibly kind and patient with my mom, who was experiencing early stages of dementia at the time. They greeted us with genuine warmth, and we always looked forward to seeing them. The cuisine at Ha-La is delightful — flavorful and made with care. It will always be my favorite spot for lunch in Alamo. However, the real magic of Ha-La Sushi lies in the wonderful people who work there.

This is an excellent neighborhood spot for sushi and serves as our go-to place in the Danville/Alamo area. The ingredients are consistently fresh, and they offer the best miso soup around. The staff is very attentive and friendly. To-go orders are neatly packed and double-checked for accuracy. Our kids always request to order from our 'regular sushi place' whenever they're craving Ha-La Sushi.

By far my favorite sushi spot in the East Bay! Staff is great and Ken is the best! 10/10 would recommend.
