Bidra med feedbackAs a corporate chef of 30 years experience it is a refreshing and wonderful change to go to a restaurant and not find a fault at all. We visited on a friends reccomendation for my wife's birthday. All of our guests were welcomed by every member of staff as we got there, (including the chef on the line), we had a great table and our server was one of the most professional I have ever seen. Attentive without pushy, great sense of humor, very knowledgeable and spoke about the entire menu, as well as the 5 specials, actually making you want to eat the food rather than following a script. Each course was well paced, portioned well and cooked perfectly. At dessert time my wife was presented with a decorated birthday plate and serenaded by the chef himself who came over to say hi. Well priced and great value for money. I can see this restaurant becoming our default place to go. We'll be back. Thanks for a great night.
Atmosphere and food were excellent. We didn't have a reservation, so we sat at the bar where the meals were being prepared amazing! I'm always searching for a decent gnocchi in the US and theirs was great. I complemented the chef, and he insisted on showing us how he makes them. Their panna cotta is the best I've had outside of Italy. My partner's ravioli and tiramisu were great. Though we didn't try their pizza that night, watching their thin crust pies in the wood fired oven was fantastic will need to try them out next time!
As one who's worked in the high-end food business in NYC for years and traveled to some of the best food cities in the world, this restaurant is right near the top. Incredible food with almost everything made in house, from the bread to the pasta. Great service and a Chef/Owned who genuinely cares about his customers and makes it a point to stop by every table. Great restaurant, a really interning menu and even a strong menu of amari and grappas. I will always make sure to visit when I'm hear on business again. Fabulous!!!
It was my first time to visit this famous restaurant that everybody at work was talking about. My doctor friend treated me for a belated birthday celebration. Food was excellent and the service was superb. We got to sit at an area that we can see the owner chef was creating pizza and calzones. He would bring it so near to or faces each time the pizza was cooked so we can smell the aroma. Very friendly and very entertaining. He would shake hands with customers, greet them, and he even hugged somebody. What a great family restaurant. By the way, the spumoni was the best!
Just had an amazing birthday dinner at Trabocco. Our server, Ben, was friendly, attentive and shared great recommendations. I didn't get the name of the gentleman who got our bread/olive oil balsamic/glasses of water but he was so attentive to when we needed anything. The drinks came out quickly and were refreshing. The meal was delicious and beautifully plated. The icing on the cake or rather the Birthday tiramisu was beautifully presented with a special a serenade of Happy Birthday from the chef. This is by far the best birthday dinner I've ever had. I left feeling happy and looking forward to coming back to enjoy many more meals at Trabocco.
