Dragon Rouge - Alameda

So delicious. the waiters were really friendly and made us feel comfortable and woke us up. at the end they made us a “desert” with cut mangos, although there was nothing vegan on the desert menu. How sweet!

I tried the $12 vegan pho at this restaurant. The broth lacked flavor and unfortunately, it wasn't very good. I felt like I could make it better myself. On a positive note, the restaurant has a beautiful view of the water and excellent customer service.

This restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and even offers metal straws for the drinks! I give it 1 sea turtle for their efforts. The cocktail menu looked tempting, but I wasn't able to try it because I always drive when I go there. They didn't have a vegan dessert option, but the staff was able to suggest one for me. The lychee iced tea was delicious. Don't forget to take a look at the Protea flower bush outside, typically only found in botanical gardens.

There are multiple vegan and vegetarian options clearly labeled on the menu. I ordered the pho with a mushroom broth, which was delicious and full of mushrooms. In addition to the soup, there were also crepes, entrees, noodle dishes, and salads available.
