Cafe Jolie - Alameda

It's fantastic! since I haven't eaten there (yes), I can only talk to breakfast and the lunch experience. eating is always fresh, perfectly prepared, great selection, and the presentation is so wonderful.

Eating is amazingly aromatized, lively atmosphere, French cafe style ambiente, and fast service. ordered the zimt challah french toast and this is incredible. the first bit of it had a balanced mix of sweet zimt, vanilla sounds and the fluffy French toast. legitimately perfect. second order was Jolie’s mix, which had well seasoned kartoffels, fluffy eggs and 2 French toast slices. fill in well. pricing wise, it was more on the expensive side. 2 dishes and 2 drinks for $50. on Sunday at 12:30 a.m. and it was pretty busy, had to wait 10 minutes to be sitting, but this is the busiest time.

It was my first time eating here and my friend and I had a great meal! We got there a little after 11am on a Sunday and only had to wait no more than 10min for a table for 2. We ordered the drip coffee, lavender latte (which was delicious), a peach belini mimosa, a lavender lemonade mimosa, we both got a croque madame and shared a half order of beignets. All were delicious!

Food was great. This place is always busy. I would get coffee while waiting. Today we had to wait for straws, my food, toast, jam for a while. They were too busy that we got forgotten many times. Otherwise the food here is superb!

While they visited my cousins in the city, they decided to bring me to brunch. it seemed to be a popular stop and the staff was friendly enough. it was a sweet little spot and my eating was good enough. I had the monte cristo. it was a little too fat for me. I should have followed my first spirit and got the jolie mix with a pancake. the eggs my cousin looked so light and fluffy. they said the lattes were great too. I have to try them again and get something else before I completely make my opinion about them. but it wasn't a bad visit at all.
