Bidra med feedbackI ate my whole evening before we even made it over the bridge. the egg rolls are tasty and the pulled booze is full of taste and perfect tangie! I'm so glad they're open for the summer and I can't wait for them to continue. thanks!
I had the Shrimp Po'Boy. It was the most amazing thing I've ever put in my mouth! 10/10 recommend!Food: 5/5
A Reel Ripoff. Prices are high but that is to be expected on the island. They take it further… I’m really angry that they won’t serve cups of water but force you to order a $2 bottle of water. You order and pick your food up at a window and they want a minimum %15 tip in addition to the overpriced kids meals. (It feels like coercion). They only reason people come here is it’s the island. You’d be better off at subway. Also, we waited for a very long time. I’m not sure exactly.
I had the half chicken and it was very dry, the potato salad was pretty good, the baked beans were WAY too sweet for me to the point I was done after one bite, the egg rolls were mediocre at best (I don't understand the rave reviews of those), my son's pulled pork was drowning in very sweet barbecue sauce and he wasn't a fan, my wife thought the ribs weren't bad, but the sauce was too sweet, my oldest enjoyed his cheeseburger and the fries were good after you got half of the salt off.If you like sweet barbecue sauce, this might be a good place for you. If you're looking for a simple decent burger or something to feed the kids, this is a good place.
Coming from the beach, I thought this would be a nice place to stop for a quick lunch. I'd never been here, but it didn't look too bad. The first warning sign came from the fact that all the prices were scratched out on the menues. While I understand price increases, there was no indication of current prices anywhere. I also realized that the cutlery and condiments were almost completely empty despite it being past the lunch rush. I ordered the Reel Deal Nachos with no pork and a vanilla milkshake with whipped cream and caramel. Upon ordering, I was first told that they were out of whipped cream. They said something between them and apparently there was whipped cream, though it left me confused as to what I was getting since there was no communication with me. They were also a cent short of my change—although the amount isn't a big deal, as someone who's worked food service, there should have been an attempt to get the change from a supervisor. I got my food relatively quickly; however, my nachoes looked unappetizing right out of the box. Everything was soggy, and nothing was hot despite having baked beans and cheese. The slaw was bitter, and I genuinely can't think of why. I'm not a picky eater, but it just didn't taste good at all. I ended up throwing away most of an $11 meal. I'm disappointed since I usually try to give smaller restaurants a chance. But this was not a pleasant experience and will not be returning.
