Johnny J's Pub Grille - Akron

What a change of a few years ago, we decided to take a chance and give them another shot. I'm glad we did it. I had noticed that the reviews were becoming more and more positive, so it seemed to be the right thing to do. we ordered irish cakes, fish sandwich and shrimp dinner, everything was perfectly cooked, not fat, spicy beautiful. 180 degree change from our last experience. Go on. the only negatiw I could give is the delivery menu and the prices, $4 to $6 difference per element on the door dash and over eats menus, plus a delivery fee, good gott, I could eat at alexander pierce for less.

Excellent menu, eat and service. the burgers and sides are delicious. will be back soon.

Really can't beat Johnny's Pub in the area. Having a beer watching the Brown's game right now! Very surprised to get a prime seat at the bar given covid and social distancing. The bartenders are not only very attractive, but friendly and service is great! I've gotten warm glasses here for draft beers in the past, but tonight they are chilled and much appreciated. Great crowd, great service. Last time I came, I watched some UFC fights and also had a good experience. The fish and chips were awesome. Can't go wrong, might have to start coming more often!
