La casa del waffle - Ajijic

Los waffles se preparan con anticipación, no están crujientes y fríos. Los huevos se sirven con la yema líquida (ver foto). El restaurante de Guadalajara es mejor. No regresaré al de Ajijic.

My husband and I were invited to our friend's birthday breakfast. The group of us were about 20 or more, plus the other males. So it was busy. I just have to say both the food and the service were amazing!! Breakfast was... delicious, but more than I could eat! So I took half home and ate it for dinner! LOL... it was so good!! The cappichinos are also fantastic and traditional. We will definately for more!!

The belguim waffle was cooked perfected and piled high with at least a quart of strawberries and blackberries and whipped cream. Pure heaven. Side order of bacon was crispy. Slow getting the last minute cap I ordered before leaving, but it was worth the wait....Fills up quickly so go early.

Everything started out great, we got our coffee our order was taken and food arrived in good time, then things went downhill food was not very hot we were never offered a coffee refill or water, our waiter never returned to our table though...he was still serving. Restaurant was not very busy so no excuse.

Is it a waffle house? Looks like they're coming with the most crispy, lightest, most delicious waffle recipe they... right? Unfortunately, it wasn't the case. Heaping with delicious fruits and whipped cream, but waffle was... Average at best. If you go on a Sunday, be ready to wait, and hope there are no screaming children!
