Casa Domenech - Ajijic

@Casa Domenech is amazing. Fantastic food and service outdoors (Covid friendly, even with Omicron). Raymond runs an excellent restaurant with a diverse menu. Even better, he has a love of jazz and an ear for great talent. You need to check this out! You will...not be disappointed.

The service at Domenech House is excellent! Ray makes sure personally that everyone has a good time and jams with the other musicians that are playing that day/night.

It's a cozy little place where you can get the night started. The food is good and they usually have good live music. Owner is very friendly and makes you feel like a good time even if you are there alone.

Last night was our first real dinner out since COVID. Having been “locked up” for a while, we were ready for a relaxed evening of good food and music. A jazz trio, sax, bass and percussion, provided excellent music, topped off with Miles’ Kinda Blue....Beautiful! Later in the evening, a guitarist named Ross sat in with them and showed his jazz guitar chops. Despite not having played together before, all four musicians were able play in sync. We highly recommend this venue if you are in the mood for good food, music and fun. BTW: Casa Domenech is certified by Jalisco for proper social distancing.

This is one of those places not everyone knows about, cozy with art-covered walls, exceptional Argentinian food, and different small music groups playing for dinner, mostly jazz and dinner-style music. Love the place, love the owner Ray, but I definiely go there for the food!
