Bidra med feedbackReally bad, taco was just a few low quality bark meats and fryed into a tortilla packed, and mozzarella sticks had no taste at all. I'll never be back.
Although it is a snack bar (brasserie), its snacks are quite elaborate, many of them with an interesting and delicious local note. le 58 is in my opinion something between a snackbar and a restaurant. I had a delicious sandwich with local healed ham. (copa,) local cheese and tomato. my daughter had a brocciu filled something, very attractive looking and tasty, after her (brocciu is a local cheese, similar ricotta.) then there was an salat with Figatelli-terrine (typical corsicabrei from blackberry, iron and Mediterranean crumble prepared.) here a late lunchtime when we arrived at the late airport service. but we enjoyed the 58 dishes very much. not only in terms of taste and prices more reasonable than everywhere in the opposite: the portions were also generous. I even ordered a shot pastis after eating to repair my digestion.
At ajaccio elsewhere and at the food and the shocking brand on drinks had been disappointed, it was good to find this place. a salad nicoise and a burger frites...not refined eat, but well prepared and fresh. more expensive than in a restaurant on the French mainland, but at 3,50€ for a 25cl glass the cheapest we found, many places calculate 5€ a glass. the waiters were efficient and helpful. I would recommend this place for a quick lunch.
Although this is a snack-bar (brasserie), their snacks are quite elaborated, many of them with an interesting and delicious local touch. "Le 58" is actually something in between a snacks-bar and a restaurant, in my opinion. I had a tasty sandwich with local cured ham (copa), local cheese and tomatoes. My daughter had a brocciu stuffed something, very atractive looking and delicious, according to her (brocciu is a local cheese, similar to ricotta). Then, there was a salad with figatelli terrine (typical Corsican spread prepared from pork liver, eggs and Mediterranean herbs). Took here a late lunch as we arrived late airport and all the sophisticated restaurants in the area closed their kitchen for lunch service. However, we enjoyed Le 58 dishes a lot. Not only in terms of taste and prices - more reasonable than everywhere in the area: the portions were also generous. I even ordered a shot of pastis after meal, to fix my digestion.
