Tavern 101 Grill Tap House

Was told this was a dog friendly restaurant and took my dog who is a nervous rescue. We sat as far away from everyone on the patio as possible, and told our waiter to not acknowledge her at all and please keep his distance. He began talking to her at one point which scared her and she began barking. A few minutes later, she had calmed down and was laying under the chair, slightly in peaking out the other side. A manger, I 'm assuming, came up and told us to move her out of the way because of the barking incident and if a child came up it would be a problem. First of all, my dog has a sign on her saying, nervous rescue, please give me space, and we told our waiter ahead of time. It came off more as a reprimanding than anything. Not to mention, the food was subpar and the margarita tasted like pure syrup. Will not go again.

Yummy food! Great service and fun ambiance with great live music. This is a Agoura hills staple that I visit everytime I'm in town. Can't wait to get back!

This place is totally unprofessional. Will not be returning. Not only is the food mediocre but the staff are unpleasant and rude.

Expensive, but the best tri tip, pulled pork, and prime rib sandwiches I've had in my life. Generously stuffed with meat and super soft yummy buns. Plus a generous portion of fries/sweet potato fries!

Great beer! Great bbq sauce Service ehhhhh Food? Mediocre... not sure why these reviews are almost 5 star... my friends and I were in the area and opted for a dinner restaurant. Server forgot about us a couple of times... so not attentive at all, someone else had to come take cover. They serve cornbread complimentary so that was a plus but it was as dry as this hot California weather... maybe add some butter to the presentation? Idk not sure why place had amazing reviews on Yelp . They didn't even have the tuna tacos they advertised on Yelp. They call it tostadas now and no tuna is not fresh. Don't get. Other than that, salad was browned and not fresh... plus side? Decent bbq burger. Overall, Not recommended!
