Bidra med feedbackTerrible service. Made us wait 45 minutes to be seated -with a reservation made two weeks ago. It took almost an hour to get our food. They clearly overbooked reservations, and the excuses were lame. "I 'm sorry no one is getting up from their table. I would stay away.
My wife and I were introduced to this place by a local. We went back again for our anniversary, then for my birthday, then just because we loved it. It's a tiny place, for sure, but that seems to make it that much more classy. Furthermore, there were different musicians playing softly in the corner to provide a lovely ambience. Apparently this place closed in January after the Agoura Hills Country Club's new management was unable to sort through the paperwork regarding the restaurant. Chef Francesco Pesce is looking for a new location so keep an eye out for his name and maybe even the same restaurant name. Mr. Pesce, we love your food and we'll follow you anywhere in the Conejo Valley or neighboring counties!
I came here for my birthday back in September with a few of my girlfriends for lunch and we had a wonderful experience! We brought our own bottle of wine and there was no corking fee which was very nice. Our waitress recommended the burrata as an appetizer which was delicious!! We were not disappointed. We ordered fish for entrees and we were pleasantly surprised. To end the meal we had a cannoli for dessert of course. We had great service sitting outside, the day was too gorgeous to sit inside! I had a great birthday!
Easy to find if you're a local but certainly a major surprise once you arrive. We enjoyed happy hour with friends, drinks and appetizers were very satisfying. We visited another time and enjoyed a romantic dinner, nice wine list and we were very pleased with our meals and service. You must give them a try, it was fairly quiet until after 7pm.
Fresh fare, cute and cozy ambience. Highly recommend the squid ink
